ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

Assistant Director will provide support to the Director that involves managing daily operations, supervising and hiring staff, overseeing center’s budget and fundraising initiatives, administration of Voluntary Pre-K (VPK) program with state and local authorities, and ensuring center’s licensure is maintained. Assistant Director will act as Director in the absence of Preschool Director. Position requires the positive promoting of the mission and programs established by the school and its Board of Directors.

We embrace each child's learning style and uniqueness as diverse learners by providing multiple learning experiences through art, music, dramatic play, oral language, emergent literacy, outdoor play, physical education, health and safety, math, science, technology, social studies, and Christian education.

 Southside Methodist Church Preschool is licensed by the State of Florida Department of Children and Families. We are a provider of the State of Florida Voluntary Prekindergarten Program. We are licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families and meet or exceed all State Guidelines.
