Our Fours – Getting Ready for Kindergarten!

Our Fours program is an exciting year of learning, growing, and preparing for Kindergarten! We accept VPK funding and provide a nurturing, engaging environment where children build the academic and social skills they need for their next big step.

Throughout the year, our Fours develop strong literacy fundamentals, including letter recognition, letter sounds, handwriting, and learning to write their names. Early math concepts and spatial awareness are introduced through hands-on activities, exploration, and play.

Kindergarten readiness is about so much more than academics! Children practice important social skills such as interacting with friends, listening and following directions, taking turns, working together, and becoming more independent and confident in the classroom.

Creativity is encouraged through both guided and independent art, giving children opportunities to follow directions while also expressing their own ideas and imagination.

Our Fours also enjoy special resource classes, including Computers, Music, Art, and God and Me, adding even more variety and enrichment to their preschool experience.

As part of our Christian preschool community, our Fours attend Chapel each week, where they learn about God's love through age-appropriate Bible lessons, songs, prayer, and worship.
