Welcome to the Jaguar class!

Our Threes class will be filled with fun and learning! In our classroom, children will learn through circle time, where we share about our day, read Bible stories, discuss the days of the week and months of the year, and teacher read alouds.  This is done through songs, puppets, and books. They will be active in centers such as Home Living, Building Blocks, Discovery, and Art. We introduce language arts and math through reading together,  letter sounds, and numbers. Our art projects offer experiences in painting, drawing, easel painting, and using scissors to develop fine motor skills.  Children will learn through social interaction how to share with others and develop good friendships. We have outside play every day. Music class, computers, and God & Me are taught on a weekly basis.

Most importantly, they will be allowed to grow spiritually, academically, and physically in a caring, nurturing environment.

During the school year, we will be celebrating birthdays and holidays.  Feel free to bring in any special snack to celebrate your child's birthday.  On some holidays, we will celebrate with an in-class party.  For those parties, you may be asked to sign up ahead of time to bring a specific food item or any other necessary items for the celebration.  We look forward to having a fun and exciting school year with your child!
